On a beautiful fall morning, the grudge “football” match between Super Systems USA and Super Systems ROW (Rest of World) occurred. It was a brilliant effort by both teams with a tie score at the end of regulation play. In overtime, a nicely crossed ball by James Cross (England) was punched out by goalkeeper Steve Thompson (USA), but not far enough to miss the sure-headed Ricardo Rossini (Italy) charging in to finish off the match 4-3. The 11-on-11 matched was played well by both teams, and other than some sore muscles, there were no injuries.
It was a nice way to break up the busy week of training for SSi’s international sales channels. There are representatives from all over the globe visiting SSi headquarters to see our new manufacturing facility, get in-depth training on established product lines, and learn the “ins and outs” of new products such as eFlo (electronic flow meters) and AutoGen (demand based generator controls).
