IT Support Technician (not a remote position)
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests for internal employees and external customers
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Providing technical support to customers (phone and remote support)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Configuring new computer equipment for internal and customer use
Qualifications/Requirements:
- SQL Server
- SQL Express
- Microsoft Windows
- Virtual Server Configuration and Setup
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Strong communication and team skills in person and on the phone
- Ability to learn new technologies as required
Education and Experience:
Required: High school diploma with qualifications and requirements listed above
Plus: 2 year degree information technology
